Debt: The First 5,000 Years – David Graeber

A doozy of a book (400 pages and another 100 of notes), Graeber tackles what debt is, how it came about, and what it means for society. The famous “Anarchist Anthropologist” and inspiration behind Occupy Wall Street, Graeber has a tinted perspective on society, but is still able to provide a basic, non-partisan explanation of debt.

Sure, I may have a BA in Anthropology but I still wish this book came with a semester-long class that could help me dig in and truly understand what I think maybe I learned from this book. Anyone else want to read and discuss?
